Roommate matching on Facebook

This year we worked with RoomBug to get some roommate matching off the ground.

They created a cool app on Facebook that allows you to "preview" potential roommate candidates who have also shown an interest in the apartment community that you're interested in. How great is that!

In essence, you set different interests and lifestyle preferences like: "early riser" "party animal" "study much" "never bought books" "clean freak" and more (we, of course, are making up the names of these categories). Then you can search for people with similar interests check someone out online potentially matches up.

Our friends at RoomBug designed these nifty instruction cards for our Spyglass Apartments office. We are using this program to match roomies for 2011.

You can give RoomBug a whirl:

• whether you've signed a lease and are still looking for a roommate OR
• if you haven't signed a lease but are interested in scoping out other potential people who showed an interest at Spyglass.

And what better way than to scope someone out on Facebook.
