New Year's Eve dinner for $20

It's the last week before Christmas...but we're already thinking ahead to New Year's Eve and where the great dinner party deals are (call us opportunists).

This Sunday we headed to 101 Downtown in the Union Street Station in downtown Gainesville and saw a deal we couldn't believe.

Between 5 to 11p.m. on New Year's Eve the restaurant will offer an incredible $20.11 (per person) dinner special including: a shared appetizer side house or Caesar salad a 101 Lite menu entrée and a shared dessert - take a look at their full menu here.

They say once the dishes are cleared you're free to hit the dance floor to ring in 2011! Here are some photos we took at brunch - the food here is pretty gosh-darn good.

We've also learned that they are extending their infamous Sunday brunches to Saturdays - so if you can't make the NYE night pencil it in your calendars for next year.

Like our development Upper Westside in College Park their sister restaurant 101 Cantina in Midtown received a 2010 City of Gainesville Beautification Award in the Restoration & Adaptive Reuse category (those lucky Upper Westside and Nantucket Walk residents can just walk on over there). This location is equally fun but offers a more casual atmosphere.
