Well it took  a little while to get back here but it was a pleasant surprise to open this morning's Gainesville Sun and read their headline about American Airlines picking up service from Gainesville Regional Airport to Miami International. Continental used to offer service many moons ago but fell flat and recently the only travel options were: the bus services that leaves from UF's campus: GMG Transport (which one could imagine stands for Gainesville-Miami-Gainesville) and Miami Bus Service (MBS) a Greyhound which took you on a tour of the state potentially the train which you'd pick up in Waldo and make a connection in Leesburg or hopping on the highway yourself - remember when tolls were 10 cents? AA says prices should be as low as $81 - 99 round trip and will offer two flights daily.
