CMC Apartments Earns Best Apartment Management Company by the NCFAA
CMC Recognized for Personnel, Property Management Success
CMC Apartments, the preeminent apartment management company in central Florida, currently manages 26 multi-family and student properties in Gainesville, Orlando and Jacksonville. Within the next year, in Gainesville alone, CMC’s portfolio will expand to include City Place at Celebration Pointe, Butler Town Center’s Residence and Terraces and 23 West Apartments. Based on the expert management of the company over the past 40 years and the high level of support employees receive, in 2017 CMC earned five out of the 13 total industry accolades presented last December’s at NCFAA’s (North Central Florida Apartment Association) annual A.C.E. (Apartment Community Excellence) Awards Ceremony. CMC was awarded more accolades than any other apartment management corporation in our area.
Nomination to the A.C.E awards are open to all NCFAA members and recognize the best personnel and communities in the local market. After all nominations are received, another apartment association group located outside the state of Florida chooses the winners. This process ensures unbiased results and maintains the integrity of the award process. Properties and staff members are judged on tangible proof of dedication to residents, the impact the company has had on the local community, plans for future development and a variety of other pertinent criteria.
Community Awards
Lake Crossing and Huntington Lakes won the prestigious Conventional Community of the Year and Renovated Community of the Year awards, respectively. These properties were recognized for their methods of interaction with residents, how the team helps residents feel welcome, their innovative marketing initiatives, their modern and coveted amenities, profitability, efficiency and a plethora of other factors.

Lake Crossing, the 2017 Conventional Community of the Year’s nomination was a standout based on glowing resident reviews and how technology has been integrated to increase the efficiency of the on-site team. Personnel Awards
Samantha Gaddis, who has been with CMC since 2014, was presented the NCFAA A.C.E Assistant Manager of the Year and Director of Marketing, Shannon Claunch won Corporate Staff Person of the Year. Finally, Chris Deweese, of Spyglass Student Apartments and CMC veteran of six years was awarded 2017 Service Manager of the Year.
