We spent some time at Arbor Apartments yesterday gathering some great decorating ideas. They're on SW 35th Place you know the one that runs between Archer and Williston Roads? They recently finished up their model if you haven't seen this adorable apartment yet you're in for a real treat. Mostly because it's great compact living (Arbor offers only 1 and 2 bedrooms) BUT there are a few well-kept secrets we're going to blab about!

This place is perfect if you plan on living alone (or two if you're a couple looking for a nice-sized "starter home" feel). We think the real draw here is that it's a ground unit there's never any upstairs noise...it's easy to bring in the groceries from the car because admit it sometimes that is the most dreaded part of the shopping outing. You can haul a Christmas tree in here pretty easily...heck you can even store a tree in their ample closet and storage space. To demonstrate here's Melanie showing just how much room you have in these massive closets in the bedroom that run the length of the wall.

Private courtyards! For dining al fresco entertaining in cooler months tanning - hey whatever works for you because it's completely sealed and gated. So it's like having a home front yard and gate that people can't see through. Do you garden? We visited one resident's garden at Arbor Apartments he's really spruced up the place with ferns plum yellow tomato plants a running fountain even a lime tree.
We were thinking rocks and orchids maybe room to grow a potted vegetable garden - we know how popular those got with comeback of The White House vegetable garden in 2009. Just think of the possibilities - of course check with management first to see what can and cannot be done but take a look at his great home-grown garden.
